  • 2026-02-23: Clarified sanctions/eligibility restrictions.

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of bitgn.com and related services (the “Website” and the “Services”), provided by Rinat Abdullin (“Author”), a sole proprietor in Austria.

The Services include, without limitation: account registration/authentication, team features, competitions and benchmarks, APIs, evaluation runs, scoring, leaderboards, and the hub directory for local on-site meetups.

By creating an account, registering for a competition, joining a team, submitting runs, applying to list a hub, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

The Author may offer separate commercial terms to companies (e.g., sponsorships or other business arrangements). Any such terms, if applicable, will be provided separately and do not apply to general public use unless agreed in writing.

2. Access and Accounts

Access to the Services may require account creation and authentication, including via third-party identity providers (e.g., Google OAuth).

You are responsible for safeguarding your account and for all activity under your account.

2.1 Sanctions and restricted persons

You must not access or use the Services (including participation in competitions, benchmarks, teams, hub listings, or events) if you are subject to sanctions or are a restricted party under applicable sanctions, export control, or trade compliance laws (for example, EU, Austrian, US, UK, or UN sanctions), or if providing the Services to you would otherwise be prohibited.

You represent and warrant that you are not a sanctioned or restricted person/entity (and are not owned or controlled by one). The Author may suspend or terminate accounts, and/or disqualify participation, if required for compliance or if the Author reasonably suspects a violation of this section.

3. Competitions, Benchmarks, and Rules

Competitions and benchmarks may have specific rules, scoring criteria, submission formats, run limits, and schedules shown on the Website (or associated documentation). Those competition-specific rules form part of these Terms.

The Author may modify competitions, benchmarks, scoring logic, or platform features at any time, including to fix errors, prevent abuse, or improve integrity. Results, rankings, and artifacts may change accordingly.

4. Team Features

If you join or create a team, you acknowledge that certain activity and participation information may be visible to your team members as part of platform functionality (e.g., team membership, run results, and internal team views).

5. Hub Directory and Local On-Site Events

The Services may include a hub directory that lists local, community-run on-site meetups (“Hubs”).

5.1 Hub listings are community-run

Hubs are organized by third parties. The Author provides the directory and related platform views, but does not operate local events, does not guarantee their quality or safety, and is not responsible for third-party hub logistics, venues, local sponsors, or local registration processes.

5.2 Hub approval and moderation

Hub listings may require admin approval before being publicly visible. The Author may approve, reject, remove, or unlist any hub listing at discretion, including to prevent abuse, fraud, misrepresentation, or rule violations.

Hub pages may include third-party links (registration pages, chat links, venue pages). The Author is not responsible for third-party services, content, or privacy practices.

6. User Obligations and Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Violate applicable laws or regulations when using the Services
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Website, APIs, evaluation systems, or security controls
  • Attempt unauthorized access or circumvent safeguards, limits, or restrictions
  • Misrepresent hubs, sponsors, affiliations, or competition participation
  • Submit content designed primarily to exploit or degrade platform integrity (e.g., spamming runs, denial-of-service attempts)

You are responsible for what you submit to the platform and any external services your agent uses or interacts with.

7. Public Artifacts and Sensitive Information

Some competitions/benchmarks may be public and may publish artifacts such as leaderboard entries, results, submissions, and logs/traces as described by the competition rules.

You must not include secrets, credentials, personal data, or confidential information in submissions or payloads, especially where public artifacts may be published.

The Author does not publish your email address or real name without your explicit permission.

8. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Website and Services (including benchmark tasks, scoring logic, evaluation harnesses, APIs, and platform materials) are owned by the Author or licensed to the Author unless explicitly stated otherwise.

You retain any rights you may have in the content you submit. However, by submitting content, data, or materials to the Services (including benchmark submissions), you grant the Author a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, reproduce, evaluate, and display such materials as necessary to operate the Services. Where competitions are public, this includes publishing benchmark artifacts and leaderboard outputs, subject to the Privacy Policy and competition rules.

9. Suspension, Termination, and Disqualification

The Author may suspend or terminate your access to the Services, remove hub listings, and/or disqualify submissions or teams if you violate these Terms, competition rules, or misuse the Services.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. The Author does not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any benchmark results will be free from defects.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Author is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Services.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Austrian law. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Austrian courts.
